The month of September is just around the corner... The end of summer is approaching, but for most young people at school age – in primary and high school – the holidays will last longer than two months. Not bad! For you, as a Father, Mother, Guardian or Education responsible, this is the time to start planning and organizing everyone's lives, so that everything flows in the lives of the young people who are in your charge and care.
The new school season reserves something new, which you should be fully aware of, in order to better organize your life and that of your students. Thus, in the 2023/2024 school year, educational establishments will decide whether they intend to organize their school calendar into 3 terms or 2 semesters. Hence, I advise you, as Father, Mother Guardian or Education responsible, to question the educational establishment(s) where your student(s) are (or will be) enrolled, regarding to the option of organizing your school calendar.
I present you with the planned dates for the new school season, in an organization model based on 3 terms. And, additionally, I include the scheduled dates for taking exams and for the various vacation periods. Calendar announced via Order ("Despacho") No. 8356/2022 of July 8, from the Ministry of Education.
